Witch trees, magic, and comic book enchantment – Pixiebug in the world of Mandragora
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve added a little Pixiebug magic to Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree. Specifically, we created the intro animation and nine shorter in-game animated scenes. These striking, comic book-style motion sequences bring to life the dark fantasy world envisioned by the game’s developers.
Published by Primal Game Studio, Mandragora invites players into a deeply atmospheric and shadowy universe. Whispers of the Witch Tree is a standalone chapter in this world, filled with magic, secrets, and supernatural threats – an ideal playground for stylish animation.
It’s important to highlight: we didn’t create the stunning illustrations – those are the work of the studio’s talented visual artists. Our task was to breathe life into these artworks: we animated, added effects, created the space, and timed every movement until each scene became a vivid, immersive experience.
Dark forests, lightning skies, mysterious glances – we brought them all to life.
